Blackburn and Sweetzeris one of our favorite hometown blogs and a definite daily must read for savvy Angelenos who want to be in the know. The woman behind the blog is the talented and chic Tasha Nita Adams who has been at the forefront of Los Angeles culture writing for publications like WWD, Daily Candy, and Angelino. Tasha has been a longtime supporter of us and even outfitted her bridesmaids in CLC! The admiration is completely mutual and that is why we asked Tasha to pick her top 5 must have CLC pieces for Fall 09 and show us how she would incorporate them into her daily busy blogger lifestyle! We spent a lovely afternoon with Tasha at some of her ( and ours! ) favorite local hot spots in the West 3rd Street neighborhood she calls home including Hillary Rush Boutique, Joan's on Third, Benefit Cosmetics and Krislyn. What I love about this boucle blazer is that it has the versatility of a black blazer but with added texture and subtle color. It's sleek over a simple black top, but I can't wait to pair it with a print or plaid.

Having grown up in Washington State and Alaska, this fringe coat reminds me of Pendleton blankets, which we have loads of and use all the time. What makes this topper all the more cozy it that it's exceedingly soft and lighter weight than I'd imagined. You always need a coat that amps up any outfit, and this is the one for the season; pair with boots and skinny jeans or tights and you're good to go.
Next stop is Krislyn , a floral design studio and boutique that is truly enchanting and unique. You can spend hours musing over the creativity that goes into their gorgeous arrangements.

Turquoise has always been one of my favorite colors. My parents are both Native American (my mom is Winnebago; my dad is Tlingit and Nisga'a), so my love for turquoise jewelry started very, very early. I was immediately drawn to this ruffly dress, so saturated with a lovely neckline; it's pretty worn all by itself, or, as I was inclined, with tons of turquoise—rings, bracelets, necklace all at once.

I'm so happy florals have come back around again, and this dress succeeds at being perfectly sweet but not saccharine—the fluttery drape, pale Asian-inspired blooms set against navy, and black obi-like structure at the waist. It's a fantastic transitional piece, worn with delicate sandals or flats, and then as the season sheds its heat, given an added edge with blazer and bold jewelry.

While I styled the shorts and blouse for night—black tights, black strappy, studded sandals—this look can easily work for day or night. Lose the tights, swap in a pair of ladylike heels, and it's work meeting appropriate. I can also imagine wearing this flouncy secretary blouse with just about anything—jeans, skirts (swingy to pencil), beneath a boyfriend sweater or cardigan. ...............
Christian shoes for gorgeous women's is not as general in the States as his Christian Sandals shoes, but also for his distinctively styled handbags. God forgive me, I interviewed Christian Louboutin while wearing a pair of trainers.
